Hundreds of starlings gather into one great curving cloud that sweeps across the rug, dense and dark where the flock is thickest and thinning to single birds at its edges. Drawn in charcoal on a soft fog-grey ground, the flock seems to move as you walk around it. Calm yet full of motion, it brings an artwork's presence to living rooms, studies and hotel lounges.

A murmuration is the name for a flock of starlings flying together in shifting, swirling shapes, often at dusk.
