About the design
Star-shaped flowers in slate blue, each with a terracotta heart, bloom across a warm ivory field among smaller terracotta blossoms and fine trailing vines. A pale duck-egg border, set with terracotta rosettes and edged in slim terracotta bands, frames the design in the manner of classic court carpets. Light and timeless, it brings quiet colour to living rooms, bedrooms and hotel suites.
Inspired by
Mughal carpets are thought to have been woven in Agra, Lahore and Fatehpur Sikri, the city Akbar built near Agra.
