Scrolling palmettes in peach and celadon on warm cream.
About the design
Oversized peach palmettes and flowering vines scroll freely across a warm cream ground, linked by sweeping celadon leaves. There is no medallion and no top or bottom, so the pattern reads beautifully from every side of the room. A border of peach flowers and celadon vines frames the design. Light, elegant and generous in scale, it suits living rooms, entrance halls and hotel lobbies.
Inspired by
In the late 19th century, carpets woven in Sultanabad, Persia, were commissioned for the Western market, in large-scale designs suited to European homes.
