Sweeping acanthus scrolls in soft rose curl across a warm cream ground, framing full cabbage roses, peonies and a few sun-coloured blooms. The composition is rich yet airy, with cream showing between every motif. A border of scrolling acanthus and rosettes, edged with a fine beaded band, completes the design. Romantic and refined, it suits drawing rooms, bedrooms and classic hotel suites.
